I've got a lot of issues (physical, emotional, academic, financial/work and family-related) to deal with. I've got several medical issues as well as a degree to deal with immediately, not to mention dealing with my living circumstances. I may quickly visit DA for a while... may a long while, but my presence may be quite limited for the next few months. I apologize if I don't respond or reply or send birthday greetings in this time.
Also, while I'm finishing a few small drawings right now... I'm afraid I'm also feeling a little creatively underwhelmed these days. I may not be posting much.

Update: I'm recovering from day surgery. Technically not major but is causing me a lot of exhaustion and emotional distress. Thank you to everyone who has written in.

All Hallow's Evening. Samhain, All Soul's Day, etc. In the old Celtic calender, tonight is the end of the year and tomorrow is New Year's Day. Makes sense in an early agricultural society. For my own part this is when I start an attempt at mentally cleaning house for a month. In large part stepping back from the Intersquish for a while, and trying to reset a lot of my own focus. On the passing of Matthew Perry, after a life of struggle with addictions and severe health issues. Goodbye, sir, and thank you for the acting and the laughs. Because he encouraged people to get vaccinated, his passing was also met with derision by people on the internet. :( If I'm going to hold people responsible for the Jab Mandates, it's the persons with the power to give people no choice: Fauchi, Biden, Trudeau, Ghebreyesus, etc. Not various celebs who may have thought they were doing the right thing based on what they were told (not to mention his status as a medically vulnerable patient). I saw enough horrible online celebrations of people who opposed mandatory vaccinations and then got sick and died... I'm not going to be the photo-negative version of those vermin. I'd rather see Fauchi in the Hague than roast Chandler Bing after all the struggles he dealt with. I'm picking the option to let Benny go free from Ceaser's tent, vale et gratias, Matthew.
Bowing out for a while.
I'm going to be taking a step back for the month of November. I will be minimizing my visits here or online in general and will be working on cleaning out my personal work space at home and getting things in order for December... I have been enjoying the Drawtober challenge, but will be ending with "Vampire" dedicated to my beautiful freind and inspiration, Laura Valentina. I may also have troubles with replying to or thanking everyone for the recent and many responses to my work. Thank you all. I need to get my mind and soul a little more in order at present, so please forgive my distracted absence and rest assured I am not ghosting or ignoring anyone.
