Femme Fatale

- Out of the gloom of the gathering evening her steps took her southwards down the ruins of old I-95.  Silently her feet trod the cracked pavement as the names faded away behind her like the dying cries of those that had stood in her way.  The stench and squalor and brothels of New Reno, the Nuclear Cultists of Fallon, the Amazon Cannibals of Hawthorne, and the long lonely dead lands after the burned-out glowing animal-ghoul-haunted ruins of Tenopah...  After using the last satchel charge to clear the pile of trucks that blocked the road near the Mount Charleston turn-off, she could see the dim glow ahead.  The lights of New Vegas.  Not a single cap did she carry on her but she had ten full magazines for her rifle and her Chinese Stealthsuit was fully charged and repaired.  ...And she had the name burned into her mind, the name her father had chocked into the mud-and-blood filled gutters of New Reno as he died.

New Vegas.  And she was just a girl new in town with a few days to kill....
